Funding Options
IF YOU ARE ON JOBSEEKERS IN YORKSHIRE OR HUMBERSIDE
To access funding from jobseekers allowance what you need to do is speak to your adviser and they will direct you to a next step provider.From this stage ,if you are assessed as suitable for this provision ,you will then be forwarded for funding.
FOR THE SCHOOL HOLIDAYS ALL COURSES 26TH JULY TO THE 23RD AUGUST WILL BE JUST £250.00 INC VAT PER 5 DAY.(This is a special offer for paying clients only and does not affect rates agreed for funding organisations).

If you live in Yorkshire and you do not mind completing a course with a member of your family then the course will be 100% FUNDED !
Whats the criteria and how does it work?
- Two people must attend the same course (yourself as the adult + an 11 to 17 year old)
- (the 11 to 17 year old may be a brother, son, daughter, nephew, neice etc)
- You can choose between any of our level 1 courses. E.g Tiling Level 1 & Plumbing Level 1.Joinery level 1
- The level 1 courses are exactly the same as our usual level 1 courses.
- You as the adult must complete the full course.
- The 11 to 17 year old must complete at least 3 days worth of the course and remember,during this period you can extend your course to 10 days for only £250.00inc vat.
When is the next course?
- The next 5 day funded family course starts on Monday 26th July 2010 and will be every Monday onwards until 30th August.
- Course are Mon-Fri 9am-4pm.
What are the free courses?
- National Award in Plumbing Level 1, 5 day course
- National Award in Tiling Level 1, 5 day course
- National Award in Joinery Level 1, 5 day course
Whats the catch? Is it really free of charge?
- Yes, the course will cost you nothing.(Refundable deposit required).
- You do not have to be claiming Job Seekers or any other benefits
- You just have to book for the course ( 01274 684984) and then turn up on your chosen Monday .
Job Centre Plus Funded Training
We are an approved training provider to Job Centre Plus and candidates can be funded for our courses depending on their circumstances. Let your Job Centre Plus careers advisor know what course or courses you would like to do and they can help you access funding where possible.
If you are outside the Leeds / Bradford area but have transport, you can still "insist" on attending our courses. We have trained clients from as fas as South Wales who were funded by JCP. You will only get one chance, so choose your provider wisely.
Facing Redundancy? or have been made Redundant?
If you are facing redundancy and you are based in Yorkshire or Humberside then there is a very good chance you can attend any one of our 5 or 10 day courses completely FREE OF CHARGE as the courses may be funded through a Response to Redundancy european social fund.
Please note, that there will be NO COST to yourself or to your company throughout the whole process, only some time filling in the required forms.
This funding works best if your company or yourself makes contact with ourselves before you leave the company. If you have already left your previous employment please contact YTA and speak to a member of our Admin team.

The majority of our students are headed for self employment and we aim to get them ready for it not just through the training but also through support and essential information.Business link can provide a wealth of valuable knowledge and their services to you will continue after the course.An advisor will see all students who are planning self employment once a week(every week) and will assess your needs.
