This course is a Level 1 National Award in Joinery and Fitting Skills through the awarding body EDI.

This is our foundation tiling course which teaches you joinery skills. It can be accessed by anyone of any age male or female who wishes to enter the industry.

Course Content

• Planning your project (stud wall, door and window project)
• Estimating budget, tools and equiptment
• Make a stud wall with a window and doorway
• Hang door
• Fit a yale lock
• Fit a mortise lock
• Fit shelving

This joinery course is primarily aimed to give you enough joinery skills so you will have the confidence to take on everyday DIY projects around the house or develop your expertise to a career in joinery.

The finished joinery course including making a shelf of your own design and fitting.
