5 Star YTA Review – Level 1 Carpentry and Joinery Course

Another 5 star YTA review for our 10 day Cskills level 1 Certificate in Carpentry and Joinery course. Please read below:

I did the 10 day carpentry and joinery course and I can recommend it. There was lots learnt over the 2 weeks and it is a good starter course for access to the industry. Relaxed feel to the training centre and a good, knowledgeable instructor.

Lawrence who teaches the carpentry and joinery courses has over 35 years experience in the trade and we only ever have 4 students on the carpentry and joinery courses to ensure you will get the most out of all our courses when attending YTA. The courses run every week so you are never far away from accessing a course and learn a trade. The Cskills level 1 courses are nationally recognised qualifications and recognised within the the industry. The Cskills level 1 certificate courses are also accepted as part of the CSCS card scheme to gain a RED CSCS card if a CSCS card test has already been achieved. Once you have three years experience behind you as a carpenter or joinery then you can then apply for the NVQ level 2 in Site Carpentry or the NVQ level 2 in Bench Joinery, both of which we offer here at YTA. Its been a busy couple of months, here’s a small selection of photos taken at various moments around the training centre during June and July. Courses range from tiling, plastering, plumbing, carpentry & joinery, kitchen fitting and bricklaying. NVQ level 2 and level 1 certificates are available for most trades.

A small selection of photographs taken at various dates this last month in the training centre. Various courses shown in action from plumbing, tiling, bricklaying, plastering, carpentry, joinery and kitchen fitting courses. Also a very busy month helping experienced workers gain their NVQ level 2 qualifications in tiling, plastering, site carpentry and bricklaying through both the EWPA and OSAT NVQ routes.

New 5 Star Review of YTA Training and Assessment

A new 5 star review from Cherrelle who has recently completed the YTA 5 day intensive tiling course. The course covers wall and floors, kitchens, bathrooms and tiling around obstacles. Thank you for a great 5 star review!

Brilliant basic tiling course. All instructors were really helpful and very accommodating. Will be returning in the near further to do the advanced tiling course.

Selection Of Photos Taken In April around The Training Centre

A small selection of photographs taken around the training centre during April 2018. Lots of happy faces enjoying their courses and we’ve had some lovely 5 star reviews, thank you very much. During April we ran 5 and 10 day courses in tiling, plastering, bricklaying, kitchen fitting, plumbing, carpentry and joinery. We also did NVQ level 2 assessments on weekends to help experienced tradesmen gain their recognised qualifications to get back on site with a blue skilled worker CSCS card.
